KIMS Clinical Research

KIMS Clinical Research is one of the largest Clinical Research Department in .AP & Telangana having experience of coordinating the conduct of over 360 clinical trials, over the last 16 years. With the current strength of 50 Principal Investigators and 25 certified and experienced Clinical Research Coordinators on its panel across all sites, KIMS Clinical Research ensures ethical conduct of clinical research across the hospital groups. KIMS Clinical Research conducts phase II, III and IV clinical trials, of which 50% are multi-­centric International trials. KIMS EC also reviews and monitors academic studies including DNB, PhD, Pharm D, along with Investigator initiated studies and Publications.

Over the years, KIMS Clinical Research has developed the capability of conducting clinical studies for drugs, devices, software applications and others. Further, we work with clients and partners with a variety of creative business models to enable progressive and quality research.

KIMS Clinical Research has established a benchmark in terms of ethics compliance and standards across its sites.

Our Institutional Ethics Committee is DCGI registered for Clinical Trials and also NABH accredited.

KIMS Clinical Research is proud to have received full NABH accreditation, for quality & protection for human research.

The Ethics Committee for Bio-Medical Research is registered under Dept of Health Research ( DHR ); and reviewing the Research projects related to DNB Thesis, Ph D Programs, Pharm-D Projects and Investigator Initiated Studies and Publications.

Dr. B. Bhaskara Rao

The visionary Founder- Managing Director of KIMS Hospitals
Dr. Bhaskara Rao Bollineni is a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon in India. He has over 27 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery and has worked in several other leading medical institutions in the country. He started KIMS Nellore in the year 2000 with the vision to create a hospital system for his home state of AP that is capable of attracting top medical talent and providing high-quality care at affordable prices. Under his leadership, and that of Dr. Abhinay Bollineni, who joined KIMS in 2014, we have expanded into nine cities across AP and Telangana through a combination of greenfield, brownfield and acquisition-led expansion. Executive Director and CEO
Dr. Abhinay Bollineni, who joined KIMS in 2014, paved the way to expand KIMS Group into nine cities across AP and Telangana through a combination of greenfield, brownfield and acquisition-led expansion. Dr. Abhinay assumed our CEO position in 2019 and played a leadership role in expanding the KIMS’ network over the last 7 years, including in the launch of KIMS Kondapur and the acquisitions of our hospitals in Ongole, Vizag, Anantapur and Kurnool.

HOD- KIMS Clinical Research
Dr(Smt) Kanaka Bhushanam, HOD KIMS Clinical Research Department is a renowned Gynaecologist and Medical Administrator with a zeal for Medical research. She served the combined AP state from 1979 to 2009 as a Professor, Superintendent and Medical Director . In pursuit of her service to people, she conducted many free medical camps all over AP and Telangana during her tenure as Director.
